Short answer: yes. TikTok and Instagram both keep sexually suggestive content out of recommendations even when it is not removed, and YouTube may age-restrict it. Explicit content and sexual solicitation are removed on all three. For creator pages, the practical rule is: if a post needs to be suggestive to work, it will not reach new people.
Removed vs not recommended
There are two different outcomes, and agencies often mix them up:
- Removed: the post breaks the rules. Repeated removals can lead to account restrictions or bans.
- Not recommended: the post stays up, followers can see it, but the app does not show it to new people. There is often no notification.

Checking and fixing
- Instagram: open Account Status, which shows whether content may be recommended to non-followers and samples of what goes against the Recommendations Guidelines (Instagram). Edit or delete flagged posts. See Instagram Account Status.
- TikTok and YouTube: read any notices in the app's inbox or account status screens, and look at which posts get follower-only views.
- Do not work around a restriction with a new account or by re-uploading the same content. Fix the content and appeal where the app allows.
