How to get Shopify traffic from TikTok organically

How to send organic TikTok viewers to a Shopify store: bio link eligibility, landing pages that match the video, and tracking each account's clicks.

Short answer: organic TikTok traffic reaches Shopify mainly through the profile's bio link, so first make sure the account can show one. Shopify's guide says you need a personal account with more than 1,000 followers or a verified business account. Then point that link at a page that matches what the videos show, tag it with UTM parameters, and tell viewers in the video where to click.

Bio link eligibility

According to Shopify's guide, a clickable website link in a TikTok bio needs one of these: "a personal account with more than 1,000 followers" or "a Verified Business Account", and you need to be 18 or older to verify a business account (Shopify, 20 July 2026). Requirements change, so check the app's profile settings for your account.

Account state Bio link What to do
New personal account, under 1,000 followers Not available (per Shopify's guide) Build the audience; put the store name in the bio text
Personal account over 1,000 followers Available Add the store link
Verified business account Available Add the store link

Don't buy followers to cross the threshold. Fake engagement breaks TikTok's rules and gives you an audience that never buys.

Where the link should go

A viewer who taps the bio link came from one video about one product. Sending them to your homepage makes them hunt.

Link target Use when
A single product page The account is testing one product this week
A collection page A theme page features several products
A simple link page on your own store You need several links and want to keep them on your domain

Keep the landing page fast on mobile and make the first screen show the same product the video showed. If clicks come in but orders do not, the page is the first place to look; see views to sales metrics.

Tag every link

Add UTM parameters so Shopify can tell the accounts apart. Shopify's Help Center says traffic that arrives with utm_campaign in the URL "is attributed to marketing" (Shopify Help Center, checked 17 September 2026).

Example for one account:

https://example-store.com/products/desk-lamp?utm_source=tiktok&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=example-deskcorner

Use a different utm_campaign per account. The full setup, including per-account discount codes, is in tracking sales per TikTok account.

Tell people where to click

Viewers do not assume there is a link. Say it in the video or on the last slide: "It's linked on my profile." Keep that line truthful; do not promise discounts or stock levels you do not have.

Posting the videos that drive the clicks

Farmero posts your videos to your own TikTok accounts from your own iPhones and confirms each post is live. It does not set up bio links or attach product links to posts; you manage those in the app. Automating these apps may breach their terms, and nobody can promise an account will never be restricted. FAQ

How many followers do I need for a TikTok bio link?

Shopify's July 2026 guide says more than 1,000 for a personal account, or a verified business account. Check your profile settings for the current rule.

Can I put a link in a TikTok caption?

Captions are not a reliable way to send clicks. Use the bio link and say where it is.

Should I link my homepage?

Usually not. Link the product or collection the videos are about.

How do I know which account sent a sale?

Give each account its own utm_campaign and, if you like, its own discount code, then check Shopify's reports.
