Install
Download Farmero — about 78 MB — and drag it to Applications.
It is signed with a Developer ID and notarised by Apple, so macOS opens it normally. If you ever see "Farmero is damaged", the download was truncated; download it again rather than working around Gatekeeper.
Activate
Settings → Account, paste the key, activate.
A licence covers three Macs at once. Deactivate one from the same page to free a seat for another.
What activation sends
Farmero sends four things and nothing else:
- your licence key
- an identifier derived from your Mac's hardware UUID
- the Mac's name, so your list of machines is readable
- the app version
It does not send your accounts, your content, or anything about what it did. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
When the internet is out
Farmero re-checks the licence every fifteen minutes, but a failed check does not stop anything. The cached licence keeps working for 24 hours offline, deliberately — a wifi blip at 3am should not end four phones mid-post.
