Proxies

Farmero can route a phone's traffic through a proxy. It is optional and off by default.

What a proxy does

Gives a phone a different IP address from the rest of your network. If you run many accounts from one home connection, that is the signal you are most obviously sharing between them.

What a proxy does not do

It does not make automation undetectable. Behaviour matters far more than IP: pacing, session length, and whether actions look human. A proxy on top of robotic behaviour buys nothing.

Setting one up

Settings → Proxies, add the endpoint, then assign it to a phone under Phones. Farmero checks the proxy answers before assigning it, so a typo fails immediately rather than silently at 2am.

Residential proxies work best. Datacentre ranges are widely known to the platforms.

Worth it?

Two or three accounts on your own connection is normal and needs nothing. If you are running a dozen across several phones, one proxy per phone is the usual arrangement.
