Troubleshooting

The failures people actually hit, and what each one really means.

Warm-ups fail immediately after setup

Almost always the runner was installed with ⌘R instead of ⌘U. The Run button installs an empty placeholder that cannot connect. Reinstall with Product → Test (⌘U) — see Install the runner.

"Could not confirm the account"

Farmero switched accounts and then could not read the expected handle on screen. Either the handle is mistyped in Accounts, or the account is signed out on the phone.

This is a refusal, not a crash. It stopped rather than act on a screen it could not identify.

The runner installs but never starts

The developer profile is untrusted. On the phone: Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → your profile → Trust.

iOS refuses to launch an untrusted developer app silently, so the Mac only sees a timeout — the cause is not visible from the Mac at all.

The phone disappears mid-run

Usually the cable, sometimes auto-lock. Use a data cable, avoid hubs, and set Auto-Lock to Never on phones that run overnight.

A run aborts partway

Farmero stopped because it could not tell where it was — usually an app update that moved something. Check Evidence for what it saw and what it expected. This is the intended behaviour, not a bug: the alternative is tapping blind.

Everything stops a day after a payment problem

That is the grace period ending. Fix the card and it resumes; nothing was deleted.

Still stuck

Ask in Discord or email hello@farmero.co. An evidence bundle from the failed run is the single most useful thing to include.
